New In | High-End Beauty Favourites

Since I stopped doing monthly beauty favourites some time last year, I’ve noticed that occasionally a new beauty favourite will slip between the cracks. But instead of letting these pretties go forgotten and unloved, I figured I’d dedicate a post to them. So here are some of my current high-end beauty loves, that for some reason haven’t been mentioned on the blog before.

Lierac Lumilogie Day & Night Dark-Spot Correction Double Concentrate

Lierac is one of my favourite French pharmacy brands, thanks to the lovely scents & luxe textures of their skincare bits. Their new launches always have me excited, and this little bottle is one of my most recent beauty favourites. It’s a double concentrate that corrects dark spots and leaves your skin looking more even, radiant and bright. The day side contains vitamins and antioxidants to brighten, while the night formula has several different acids to activate cell renewal. But by far my favourite thing about the whole thing is the amazing white musk and magnolia scent.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush | Mood Exposure

It’s no secret that the gorgeous Hourglass makeup has me obsessed, and I’ve even dedicated an entire post to the Ambient Lighting powders. I owned one of these blushes before, and even though the shade is gorgeous I always regretted not getting something a bit more subtle and everyday appropriate. So I splurged on another one, and it’s quickly become a favourite. Mood Exposure is a soft mauve-y shade that’s marbled with the Mood Light powder to brighten the complexion.

OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray

OUAI haircare made some waves in the blogging world a while back, and I’ve been wanting to try something from them ever since. I was obviously drawn to the minimalist packaging and the effortlessly cool Parisian vibes behind the brand. The texturizing spray is described as a dry shampoo and hairspray having a baby, and I think it just about sums it up. It gives my hair great volume and grit, but don’t expect it to freshen up dirty hair. I love spraying this on freshly washed hair for that third day hair look.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit | Surreal Light

I kept meaning to do a post on this palette, but somehow never got around to doing it. And now I can’t believe I’ve had it for months without me even mentioning it, since I use it almost on a daily basis. It has everything you need in a face palette, from blush to highlighter, bronzer and powder. All the shades are just gorgeous; subtle, natural and radiant. And don’t even get me started on how much I adore that marble packaging…

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick | Pillow Talk

The blogging world went crazy for this lipstick when it was first released, and it’s no wonder. Although I’ve never tried the original Pillow Talk lip liner (I mostly can’t be bothered to line my lips), I can definitely see why people would love it so much. Pillow Talk is that perfect dusky pinky nude, that’s almost exactly the shade of my lips. I also love the formulation of these lipsticks, since despite being matte they don’t look flat. And feel creamy and comfortable on the lips.

    That hourglass palette looks divine.
I am a sucker for lovely packaging – I will have to check it out.
However; I think this was sold out right?

It is so gorgeous, isn’t it? It was a limited edition but it still seems to be available at least on the Space NK website 🙂 xx

Pillow Talk is such a gorgeous nude shade, it’s been everywhere in the blogging world and I can understand why. Pretty luxury nude lipsticks are a basic to have 🙂 The Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette is obviously gorgeous too, I really hope to try the brand soon!

It’s the perfect nude! You really have to try Hourglass, their products are pricey but so beautiful that they bring me joy every time I use them 😀 xx
