Lancome is one of the brands that I’ve recently fallen head over heels for (their branding is always on point). And today I’ll be talking you through two beautiful bits from their new Énergie de Vie skincare range. I have to confess that I’m a complete victim of marketing with this one. First of all, I fell in love the little ad video with Lily Collins (she’s just the cutest) and when you put the words “glow boosting” into anything, you have me pretty much running to the store.
LANCôME ÉNERGIE DE VIE
Énergie de Vie is inspired by the Korean beauty trend. Which means that all the products are very light and liquidy, but still packed full of skin treating super ingredients like goji berries and lemon balm. They’re meant to give your skin a boost of energy and antioxidants. While getting rid of any sings of late nights (like a good nights sleep in a bottle!). They’re also a busy girl’s best friend, since the liquid form makes them fast and easy to apply, and most of the products are multipurpose. The range has altogether three skincare bits; the Liquid Moisturizer, the Sleeping Mask and the Pearly Wake-Up Lotion.
Lancôme Énergie de Vie Liquid Moisturizer
I have to say that when I first tried this one, I was a bit skeptical on how a liquid moisturizer would work. I envisioned myself with the liquid slipping through my fingers while I was desperately trying to apply it to my face. But, as it turns out it’s super fast and easy to apply, which has made it a morning routine favourite of mine. Plus, it has such a lovely refreshing scent that I almost don’t mind having to wake up at 7 am as long as I get to slap this on my face. I love a good all in one, and the Énergie de Vie Liquid Moisturizer combines a toner, lotion and serum, making it the perfect one step skincare bit. Now if only they could make something like this for the body! (Please, Lancome?)
Lancôme Énergie de Vie Sleeping Mask
This is definitely one of the weirdest masks I’ve tried, since feels like a thick bouncy cream in the tub. But once applied to the skin it melts into something like water, but even softer. It has a gorgeously refreshing scent and it gives a serious boost of moisture to your skin. Unlike most masks, you’re not meant to apply a thick layer, but use it more like you would a night cream. So this tiny tub is going to last me a long time.
Have you tried any of the Lancome Énergie de Vie products?
