As much as I love slathering on all the luxe face creams, I know that having healthy glowing skin starts from a good cleanse. Cleansing is something I used to see as a necessary evil before getting to the fun stuff of my skincare routine. But after trying a fair share of cleansers and discovering the best cleansers for me, I’ve actually started to love stripping my skin off all the stresses of the day. Finding a good cleanser is all about knowing what works for your skin, so today I’m sharing my favourite cleansers for all skin concerns, from dull to dry.
THE MOISTURIZING ONE | Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm
To be honest, this cleanser wasn’t exactly love at first try for me. I didn’t really get what all the hype was about, and it ended up gathering dust at the bottom of my beauty drawer. But then I few months ago I dug it out again and unexpectedly fell in love. It simply melts away makeup. Since it’s a balm it’s incredibly nourishing, and easily takes the title of the most moisturizing cleanser I’ve ever tried. If your skin is dry, dull or patchy, give this balm a go.
THE ILLUMINATING ONE | Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel
The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is one of the most hyped up cleansers in the blogging world, but it’s honestly so for a reason. It’s without a doubt one of the best cleansers I’ve ever tried, and one I can’t imagine myself living without. It’s a creamy pink gel, that worked into the skin immediately starts to work it’s magic. You can just see it getting rid of all the dirt and dead skin cells. Packed full of pumpkin enzymes and vitamins, it leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed. If your skin is looking dull and in need of a pick me up, then this is your guy.
THE SOOTHING ONE | The Body Shop Aloe Calming Cream Cleanser
This one is my original cleanser love, and one I used quite a bit before discovering Oskia. It’s a really gentle cream cleanser full of soothing aloe vera, that also takes care of keeping your skin hydrated. It’s also made without fragrance, so it’s perfect if your skin is super sensitive and just needs a gentle cleanse.
THE NATURAL ONE | Mia Höytö Cosmetics Kaunis Cleansing Gel
I realize this isn’t actually a skin concern. But since I know that some people like to keep it natural (and this is one of the best cleansers I’ve tried), I wanted to include it anyway. Kaunis is a light and gentle gel, that foams up a little when massaged into wet skin. It’s made with organic aloe and cornflower water, that both purify and calm the skin.
