A new season means it’s again time for a new capsule wardrobe, and this time it’s my autumn capsule wardrobe. Autumn has always been my favourite season style wise, since you just have so many options. Some days it’s still warm and I can go out just wearing a light cardigan, and other days you get to bundle up in your warmest sweaters. Speaking of sweaters, get ready for a whole lot of them…
So what about what I learned from my previous capsule wardrobe then? All in all I was pretty happy with my summer capsule wardrobe. I wore most of the things in it, and I didn’t really find myself feeling like anything was missing. (Which happened with my spring capsule, if you remember). But boy am I happy that the season is changing. Since after three months, I was honestly starting to get a bit bored with my summer capsule. So now that I’ve rejigged everything into an autumn capsule wardrobe, my entire wardrobe feels all fresh and new again. Now isn’t that just great?
MY AUTUMN CAPSULE WARDROBE
Much like with all my other capsules, I mostly stuck to neutrals with my autumn capsule wardrobe. (I did consider bringing in burgundy for a bit, but then decided that I wouldn’t really wear it over time). The pops of pink were switched to navy, and there’s a whole lot more sweater action going on. Speaking of that sweater action, my shopping list had a cardigan and a turtleneck sweater, both of which I’ve already found. (I also ended up buying one extra grey sweater, but let’s not talk about that). I still need to replace my worn out brown booties, but other than that, I’m all set for fall.
