The One Stop Palette You Need In Your Stash

Would you think I’m crazy if I told you I’ve been dreaming about this palette for nearly a year? Well, I have. The Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette was released early last year. But being the over-thinker that I am I didn’t jump on it and it sold out. And I’ve been harassing the CT customer service ever since asking when it would make a comeback. Finally, a little after Christmas it was brought back with a twist, and now comes in two shades; Natural & Seductive Beauty. Guess which one I got?

Face palettes are a rather recent love for me (it all started with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit). But since I’m all about that simple & easy makeup, I can’t believe it took me this long to find them. Doing my makeup in the morning is so much quicker when I don’t need to root around my makeup bag to find different products, and I can probably do my makeup with this palette in five minutes flat.

Instant Look In A Palette comes with 7 powders, covering everything from bronzer to eyeshadow. The packaging is sturdy, shiny and beautiful, and fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. At first I was a bit surprised by how compact the palette actually is, but the size does make it perfect for keeping it with you on the go. (It’s so handy for traveling, as us beauty bloggers would say).

All of the powders are feathery soft, finely milled and beautifully blendable. Since I love keeping my makeup pretty natural, I went for the gorgeously glowy Natural Beauty palette.

The Face

The bottom half of the palette is all face powders. The bronzer is a lovely light shade that works beautifully on fairer skin tones, and the highlight is a classic champagne shimmer with all the glow. Like with the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic blushers, the blushes come in two shades. A nudier Cheek Swish to be used all over, and a brighter pink Cheek Pop for a pop of colour on the apples of your cheeks. I’ve used both the blushes both separately and together, and they’re beautiful both ways.

The Eyes

The top half of the palette has three eyeshadow shades, that combine to create a really natural subtle eye look. Eye Brighten is a peachy nude shade that I use all over the lid. Eye Enhance is a beige shimmer that’s undoubtedly the most beautiful shade of the bunch. And finally Eye Smoke, a matte medium brown that can be used to define the crease, or create a smokier evening look. All in all the CT Instant Look In A Palette is everything you’d want from a one stop shop palette; easy, quick and always gorgeous.

Charlotte Tilbury seems to be the perfect beauty brand. They never do anything wrong, and all the reviews I read make me want to try out all her products! This palette is lovely, and it is definitely worth the investment because it has everything you’d need. It might be a little too light for darker skins like mine though!

She can literally do no wrong if you ask me, I’ve loved all the products that I’ve tried from CT. Yup, I’d say that the only downside to this palette is that it might not work for darker skin tones.. xx

Her palettes are so incredible. I somehow snagged the limited edition Dolce Vita all in one palette at Nordstrom last year and it is probably my favorite beauty items I own! Big claims!! Love this post, babe.
