Happy Sunday lovelies! Like mentioned in my last post, one of my goals for this year is to switch up as many of my beauty bits as possible to natural options. To me the easiest place to begin was natural skincare, since there are already so many lovely options to choose from. Gone are the days of ugly packaging and horrendous scents, natural skincare bits are just as beautiful as their chemical counterparts. Here are a few of my recent favourite discoveries.
NEW NATURAL SKINCARE FAVOURITES
I got a little tester of this scrub with a beauty order, and immediately knew I’d get the full size. My skin can be a bit sensitive and get easily irritated by manual scrubs, but at the same time it also has a tendency to get congested. So finding a good scrub is an eternal struggle.
My favourite part about the Absolution Crème Gommante is that it has a double effect with both a manual scrub and exfoliating fruit enzymes. The tiny scrubbing bits feel gentle even on sensitive skin. And the citrus and blueberry enzymes brighten and resurface, leaving me with a fresh skin that feels brand new.
I had been dreaming about this little pot of goodness for quite some time before making the splurge. Herbivore is without a doubt my favourite natural cosmetics brand. Everything from their delicious scents to the minimalist packaging just appeals to me.
This mask has the consistency and scent of a pineapple pannacotta, and while I’ve only used it for a couple of times so far, I can already tell it’s going to be a firm favourite. It’s packed full of pineapple and papaya enzymes, that gently exfoliate the skin making the experience a bit tingly. It leaves my skin looking bright and refreshed, while also making it soft and smooth.
So far I’ve found natural skincare favourites in nearly all categories, except for moisturizers. That is, until this little pot came around. Like the name would suggest, Pink Cloud is a lightweight blush pink cream that sinks into the skin like a dream. It has a subtle rose scent and a beautiful dewy finish, that looks as lovely under makeup as it does by itself.

Patyka Marine Crystals Revitalising Body Scrub
I’ve always been drawn to natural body scrubs and have tried quite a few. (The Herbivore Coco Rose being my favourite). But this one quickly rose to the top as unlike anything I’d tried before.
Most natural body scrubs tend to have a rather thick consistency heavy with sugar, but this one is refreshingly smooth and salt based. At first I was skeptical about the tube versus pot. And while it did maybe run out a tad faster than my potted options, it was a lot easier to use in the shower. The scent has something refreshingly oceanic about it, that leaves me feeling invigorated every time I use it.
Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil
The Pai Rosehip Oil is one of those natural beauty products that you hear pretty much everyone raving about. So it had been at the top of my shopping list for some time. I have to say it wasn’t exactly love at first try with this one, since I’m really not a fan of the rather strong rosehip scent. However, the oil itself is absolutely beautiful and immediately gives your skin a healthy glow. I also feel like over time it has cleared up my skin and evened out my skin tone.
